The California DREAMS Hub has released its first comprehensive Workforce Development Needs Assessment, a data-driven analysis of semiconductor labor demand across Los Angeles, San Diego, and Santa Barbara counties. Using real-time labor market intelligence and the new JobPulse tool, this report identifies a regional shortfall of roughly 20% in semiconductor talent, most acutely among engineers, but also spanning scientists, technicians, and operational support roles.
